Renamed from our Festive honey, this Winter Ivy honey combines fresh, herbal and lightly menthol flavours with a sweet, ripe finish. Light in colour but a heavyweight in flavour. Ivy honey crystallises rapidly which means it sets in the jar. Definitely not a runny honey!

    Extraordinary taste

I wasn't sure I would like this honey based on the description but I was very pleasantly surprised. It is absolutely delicious and I would go so far to say it is my favourite. Yes it is hard but I'm hoping that will mean it won't disappear as quickly as all the other honey seems to in our house!

    Winter honey

This is lovely honey. From some of the reviews, I thought I might not like it, not so. I'm sorry I can't do the flavour analysis, like people do with wine, but it is quite floral, in a nice way. I've had flowery ones in the past and just didn't like them, so this was a pleasant surprise. I've always been a bit averse to set honey too, thinking it won't spread on toast. But this spread quite easily. It's almost powdery, soft set rather than solid. Like others, I'm trying to work through the range, and I think this could be my second favourite to Autumn honey, and above Seaside and Summer honeys. Tricky choosing, but very tasty! Also good on a spoon, straight from the jar. You have to do the taste test, don't you? I currently have three jars open so I'll be finishing at least a couple before I start the Somerset and Starflower jars, sat waiting patiently in the cupboard. Roll on . . .
