Pollen Honey Smoothies

In the midst of winter when we’re all trying to find the balance between cosy comfort food & getting our vitamins - a quick smoothie packed with goodness is a great daily boost!

Our Pollen Honey blends pollen granules collected during the spring and summer months with our soft soft spring honey. Preserving nature's summer abundance to help us through those cold winter days.    

Makes 1 smoothie

INGREDIENTS

Golden Antioxidant 

1 frozen banana

2cm chunk of fresh ginger (no need to peel) 

3cm stick of fresh turmeric (or ½ tsp of powdered) 

4-5 big chunks of fresh or frozen pineapple 

1 generous tsp of Pollen Honey 

100ml oat milk or preferred 

Dash of extra oat milk or cold water to desired consistency 

Berry Probiotic 

1 Frozen banana 

A handful of frozen or fresh berries 

1 tbsp nut butter 

1 generous tsp of Pollen Honey 

100ml kefir 

50-80ml cold water to desired consistency

METHOD

Place all of your chosen smoothie ingredients into a blender and blend on high, add a dash more milk or cold water till a smooth pourable consistency.

Tip: If you have spare freezer space, we recommend pre-portioning the frozen fruits for quick morning blending. Ginger freezes really well, so buy the big piece & portion it up into chunks. 

Trying to get more greens into your day? Add a handful of spinach or kale to your smoothie.
